Hi Mark, sorry to take so long to reply. rigs are for people who are drilling for oil; i generally oppose their interests! i use a Fostex digital 16 track and if needed i can midi sync it to my Roland digital 8 track, so essentially it’s a 24 track studio, this goes for the mobile service as well. There is also the Fostex reel to reel machine if needed for added warmth etc. some of the equipment can be seen on the Music Production Retreat page. it is possible to record 8 tracks simultaneously, and the standard studio rate is $30 per hour, however if you read the topical artist incentive there is a reduced fee of 13.60 p/h for music that is topical about non-violence or about something related, at the producers discretion (me). i hope that answers your queries, give me a call if you wish: Ash 0432 114 099
