Creature, living feeling creature,
How I’d like to know my kinship with you
But this place here and it’s people
say you’re only here to use

If your child would fail to learn to speak
would you treat her with abuse
it’s similar these creatures are your little children too.

Everywhere women and children should
feel safe in the strength of the man
and where is this protection deserved by the animals of the land?

Some people are polluted by the callous thoughts were taught to think
These thoughts breed hatred, it’s offspring war
You can’t escape this missing link

And that ruthlessness for power, money, overwhelming greed
Is a symptom of this slaughter
But until it is agreed, we will live in misery.

We feed upon the dead and so we live in dread

Who are we to judge the value of some other creature’s life?
We’d probably think differently at the mercy of our knife

But you wanted it like this you chose your own dress.
You’ve been wearing it proudly, unwilling to confess,
That your not what you think you are
No, your not what you think you are

So please ask your self honestly and search so deep you find
This is the reason for our peoples decay deceit and lies.

Laws are in place to protect dogs but not pigs
One is called man’s best friend
The other ends up next to the toast and eggs.

Dog eat dog thinking
Is taking millions of lives
The wise tell us to live simply so others may simply survive
And so we vote with what we buy

Self interest seems a good doctrine for one who benefits
A different script read by one on the losing end
When will all animals be accepted and protected
One vision is everyone must have food
Another is every being must be spared from harm

The new future human ancestor only eats what she grows
Homo-Vegetalis less than seven thousand years old
We are a new branch on a tree that will grow very old
Nurture and believe in this tree it is your future.

All unkind words and deeds stem from the enslavened heart,
which beats unquestionly in your chest and,
in that of the four-legged being
it just like you feels
pleasure from sun and wind,
enjoys the taste of food,
feels comfort in freedom from pain and suffering.
Relief from the absense of cold and exhaustion..

Why kill for food?
Why fund suffering?

Sentience, or the capacity to feel is not the exclusive privilige of humans
Pain is pain, whichever being suffers it.
And on the subject of the suffering of animals reared for food,
Humans must suffer the pain of conscience
But the genes of conscience are not powering the expansion of present human evolution
Often ethics and compassion are strangled by the invasive weeds of ignorance and greed.

Why kill for food?
Why fund suffering?
