Blue Mountains Recording Retreat (the Haven) Tucked away in the world heritage blue mountains is the Altruis Music Recording Retreat specialising in recording acoustic, world music, jazz, folk, ambient and new musics such as cross-over (e.g. acoustic/electronic) Three day retreats are available between Friday afternoon and the following Monday morning each week. Meals and accommodation are provided and the fee is a humble $250. The fee will be subsidised to between $0 and $250 depending on the percentage of topical material to be recorded over the weekend.
